Exercise to Prevent

My partner, Kim, requested I create her a logo identity for a brand she wish to start up. Originally from Australia, she had studied Exercise Physiology which, personally I'd never heard of before I met her. Exercise physiology is the physiology of physical exercise. The name of the brand was to be 'Exercise to Prevent' and she'd asked for a simplistic, minimal look and if possible display movement. The reasoning behind the name was quite straight forward, that creating movement, or exercise would help prevent injury.

The final design I came up with, I think has the aspect of movement due to the spaces between each piece, creating the concept of air flowing through slipstreams. The 'E' cut at angles to visualize moving forward and the '2' to demonstrate more of a flexible approach with the bold curves.
